#Regional News: Guwahati, Assam, June 5, 2023 As part of ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability, on the occasion of World Environment Day, students of Modern English School, Kahilipara recently embarked on a project to create unique and eye-catching artifacts using plastic materials.
In line with the 2023 World Environment Day Campaign #BeatPlasticPollution, not only did MES, Kahilipara students showcased their artistic skills, but they also used this opportunity to shed light on the importance of reducing plastic waste and promoting a greener future. By transforming discarded plastic into beautiful art pieces, they demonstrated the potential for recycling and upcycling in our daily lives.
Each artifact tells a story and carries a powerful message about the impact of plastic pollution on our planet. From stunning sculptures and intricate jewelry to functional household items, the students have proven that even the most mundane objects can be repurposed into something extraordinary.
