Modern English School, Kahilipara celebrates World Environment Day #BeatPlasticPollution in a creative way.

#Regional News: Guwahati, Assam, June 5, 2023 As part of ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability, on the occasion of World Environment Day, students of Modern English School, Kahilipara recently embarked on a project to create unique and eye-catching artifacts using plastic materials.

In line with the 2023 World Environment Day Campaign #BeatPlasticPollution, not only did MES, Kahilipara students showcased their artistic skills, but they also used this opportunity to shed light on the importance of reducing plastic waste and promoting a greener future. By transforming discarded plastic into beautiful art pieces, they demonstrated the potential for recycling and upcycling in our daily lives.

Each artifact tells a story and carries a powerful message about the impact of plastic pollution on our planet. From stunning sculptures and intricate jewelry to functional household items, the students have proven that even the most mundane objects can be repurposed into something extraordinary.

“We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our students for their outstanding efforts and to their teachers for guiding and inspiring them throughout this project. We are immensely proud of their dedication to the environment and their ability to make a positive impact on our community”, said Mrs. Jonali Das, the Principal of Modern English School, Kahilipara. “Let’s all take a moment to appreciate the incredible work done by our students and reflect on how we can contribute to a cleaner and greener world. Together, we can make a difference!”, she added.
