#Regional News: Guwahati, Assam, June 12, 2023 On Sunday, Assam Cabinet Minister Jayanta Mallabaruah made an announcement. The Ambubachi festival will be held between June 22nd and June 26th, 2023.
Ambubachi Mela is a Hindu fair held at Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati, Assam. It is among the most significant festivals of eastern India and the most important festival of Kamakhya Temple, one of the 52 Shakti Peeths of Goddess Shakti.
The Kamakhya temple will be closed on the first day of the festival, June 22, and it will reopen again on the last day of the festival, June 26. The visitors can visit the temple on June 26. The Kamakhya temple will be open from 5:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. for visitor darshan.
